    EN 10269 Grade X22CrMoV12-1 (1.4923) Fasteners

Martensitic Stainless Steel Bolts, Stud Bolts, Screws, Nuts & Washers in EN 10269 Grade X22CrMoV12-1 (1.4923)

EN 10269 Grade X22CrMoV12-1 (1.4923) Fasteners are martensitic stainless steel fasteners with excellent high-temperature strength, creep resistance, and oxidation resistance, widely specified for steam turbine bolting, high-pressure valve stems, and critical bolting in power generation plants up to 550°C.

    • a Elements not listed in this table may not be intentionally added to the steel without the agreement of the purchaser except for finishing the cast. All appropriate precautions are to be taken to avoid the addition of such elements from scrap and other materials used in production which would impair mechanical properties and the usefulness of the steel.
    • b A controlled sulphur content of 0,015 % to 0,030 % improves the machinability and is therefore recommended and may be agreed at time of enquiry and order. For weldability, a controlled sulphur content of 0,008 % to 0,030 % is recommended and may be agreed at time of enquiry and order.
    • c For requirements regarding magnetic properties up to a maximum of 0,28 % C.
