    EN 10269 Grade X10CrNiMoMnNbVB15-10-1 (1.4982) Fasteners are complex austenitic stainless steel fasteners with multiple alloying elements including niobium, vanadium, and boron providing exceptional high-temperature creep strength and thermal stability, used in advanced power generation, steam turbines, and ultra-high-temperature pressure bolting applications.

All appropriate precautions are to be taken to avoid the addition of such elements from scrap and other materials used in production which would impair mechanical properties and the usefulness of the steel.
    • b A controlled sulphur content of 0,015 % to 0,030 % improves the machinability and is therefore recommended and may be agreed at time of enquiry and order. For weldability, a controlled sulphur content of 0,008 % to 0,030 % is recommended and may be agreed at time of enquiry and order.
